Probably the strongest and biggest strength of the LLM is the people who are involved, ranging from the professors, teaching assistants and also students who have very strong academic and professional backgrounds and who come from different parts of the world.
Core courses provide a solid legal basis and understanding of public international law, international humanitarian law, international human rights law, international refugee law and international criminal law.
This unique series of events relating to military institutions and the law aims to improve our students’ knowledge of military actors and operations.
Our LLM students can participate in two moot courts, the prestigious Jean-Pictet Competition on international humanitarian law and the Nuremberg Moot Court Competition.
Our LLM students have the opportunity to acquire first-hand professional experience via internships with Geneva-based humanitarian and human rights actors
