How to Apply

Instructions on the steps required to apply for our LLM-MAS Programmes.

Before applying to our LLM – MAS programmes, please download and carefully read the application guidelines:

These documents provide explanations on the required documents, deadlines, and important information you will need to provide on the admission portal.

Please note that the guidelines include interactive documents related to your career plan, awards, grants, and prizes. These documents must be downloaded, completed, and uploaded to the admission portal. If these documents are not provided, you will not be able to submit your application.

We therefore strongly advise that, as a first step, you download, read, and refer to the guidelines throughout the application process

Required level of English:

A sound command of English (level C1). You must be able to show, via a recognized test, that your English is of a high enough standard to successfully engage with and complete your course at the Geneva Academy. This requirement does not apply if (1) your mother tongue is English; (2) you have taken an English-taught bachelor’s or master’s degree; (3) you have at least two years’ professional or academic experience in an English-speaking environment

Tuition fee

The tuition fee for the LLM-MAS programmes is 18,000 Swiss Francs.

If you are applying with scholarship:

scholarships

We offer a limited number of full scholarships for the programme. 

These scholarships are allocated through a highly competitive process based on criteria established by scholarships donors, and which notably include academic merit, extracurricular achievements, country of study, country of residence and the candidate’s financial needs.

These full scholarships cover tuition fees and living expenses in Geneva for 10 months. They are only available for citizens of non-western countries (full list of eligible countries available here). 

If you are applying with scholarship, you will have to download and fill in the related document on scholarship from the guidelines. 

Admission Fee

 In order for their applications to be reviewed, all applicants must submit within the week following the submission of their application a non-refundable admission fee of CHF 100 via this link. On the Flywire platform, you will have to indicate your first and family name as well as a student ID. 

For the student ID, please indicate the name of the programme you are applying for: LLM – MAS in IHL and HR or LLM – MAS in Inter crimes, justice and HR. This is very important in order to verify that payment has been received.
